These delightful ornaments are handmade by Fair Trade artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal. The makers use 100% organic wool, hand-roll it into felt, and use no chemicals in their colorful dyes. The figurines are imported into the United States by The Winding Road. The company works with a small, family-owned workshop committed to Fair Trade practices and to improving its artisans' living standards. The Winding Road donates a portion of its profits to cover the school tuition for several of its felt workers' children.
