Crosby & Taylor (formerly Tin Woodsman Pewter) has been producing original pewter designs for nearly 40 years. Everything is handmade in the USA using lead-free, American pewter. Founded by designer and pewtersmith Deborah Chapman, Crosby & Taylor's measuring cups have graced the kitchens of celebrity chefs such as Paula Deen, and her keepsake gifts have warmed recipients' hearts for decades.
In February 2025, Deborah sold her business to The Barrington Garage. We are thrilled to carry on her legacy of creative yet practical pewter designs that will endure for generations. I have always loved the spoon rests and have purchased quite a few as gifts. The 3 I received were a bit shinier than those in earlier purchases. Quality is still beautiful. Such beauty needs a bit more presentation such as a business card to go with the product as well as a little wrapping such as a box or butcher paper wrapping with a small ribbon of twisted jute twine.
