These handled crocks are wonderful for serving baked French onion soup, chowders, or single-serving casseroles and desserts. Anthony Stoneware is handmade in Western North Carolina using traditional wheel-throwing and slab construction techniques. The glazes are custom-mixed, and the pottery is fired in a hand-built, gas-fired kiln.
Please note that the glazes are reactive, making each bowl a unique piece. French Blue, in particular, varies between washed blue and denim blue. Please expect and appreciate naturally occurring variations in color and texture that give each piece personality and distinction.
